The term commutation jacket encompasses any jacket worn by a soldier, but not issued to him through the government. Some have outside pockets, some have beltloops, some have shoulder straps. Button count varies. Various trim can be used.
Our standard commutation jacket blank has one outside pocket and 6 buttons.
