Our standard single breasted frock coat is based on the original worn by Dixon Conn who was wounded while wearing his frock coat. The original frock is housed in the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh accession number H.1965.78.1.
This style coat features
- our black and white on brown variegated jean cloth
- two piece sleeves
- one interior pocket in the right breast lining
- osnaburg lining in body and Cooper check lining in the skirt
- Per the original there are no pockets in the tail of this coat
Please be sure that your blank fits you before finishing work is done as we will not accept returns of blanks once they have had finishing work done by anyone other than B. & B. Tart.
A blank includes the assembled pieces and instructions for finishing the garment. Buttons and thread are not included but are available for an additional charge.
